I will be returning to North Panola Junior High School next year. I believe that in my heart, I always knew that two years would never be enough. I am still at the very beginning of this journey and I know that there is so much to learn, experience, and give. My friends and family have been asking me for two years what this experience has been like. For two years, I have struggled to answer them. How do you describe an experience that has caused you to run the gamut of human emotion?
I am at peace with my two years because I know that I gave it my absolute best. I have worked very hard. I have had the purest of intentions, and have made all of my daily choices to the best of my ability.
I am so excited to keep teaching, caring for, and supporting the students of NPJHS.
Next year, I will know every student in the building. That will be so special.
To my MTC cohort, thank you for getting through this with me.
You are all smart and good people.
It has been an honor to go through this with all of you.
To my NPJHS family...thanks for putting up with my loud classroom and boisterous lunch periods through the halls.
I promise, I'll get 'em next year!
To my family and friends, thank you for always asking me how things were going at the time.
It felt really good to talk through what I was experiencing.
To my students...it's always been all about you.
